Description

This publication (NYK-023) describes a small family burying ground, which is no longer visible. It was located on Lot 5, Concession 4, in York Township, now the City of Toronto. Today, this would be located near Lawrence Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue. It is not to be confused with the Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery or Fitzpatrick’s Appointment Cemetery (Wexford NYK-019). The Fitzpatrick family burying ground was a special place set aside by the Fitzpatrick family to bury their dead. The marker is now located at Zion-Wexford Cemetery (SCR-016).

Every legible word on the gravestone has been transcribed. The booklet includes an introduction and a map. The index can also be consulted in The Ontario Name Index.
