Dating from 1820, Knox was the first Presbyterian Church in the Town of York, now Toronto, located first on Richmond Street, then Queen Street, and now Spadina Avenue. The publication includes the church’s baptismal, marriage and burial registers, as well as the records of Rev. James Harris that were submitted to Home District Marriage Registers and York County Marriage Registers. The book contains more than 4,800 records,  a short history of the church, photos, and is fully indexed. The index can also be consulted in The Ontario Name Index.
