Description
An index to the heads of household and persons whose surnames differ from the heads of household in the 1871 City of Toronto. Entries include age, occupation, religion and ethnic origin when available. Indexers and proofreaders were local members of the Ontario Genealogical Society with an understanding of local names and handwriting. Designed be used in conjunction with the original records on microfilm or digitized on a number of websites.
